Some people get hit so hard by life they may struggle to escape their circumstances. Every story is unique as is every person.

Homelessness is not just about lacking shelter—it’s also about losing stability, safety, dignity, and often connection.

Shame and embarrassment – Society often stigmatises homelessness, and people internalise that. Many feel judged or invisible.

Hopelessness and depression – After facing repeated failures, losses, or systemic neglect, many feel stuck and lose hope things can change.

Fear – Life on the streets is dangerous. Many constantly fear for their safety, especially at night.

Isolation – Homelessness can break social ties—family, friends, jobs—leading to loneliness and detachment.
